Our current chaplain at Holy Trinity is the Reverend Peter Anderson.  Peter and his wife Helen joined us here nearly five years ago after spending 7 years in Ireland.  We ask for God’s continued blessing on their ministry in Cannes.

My wife, Helen, and I arrived in Cannes on a wet evening in November 2002 and are delighted to have completed 6 years of ministry here at Holy Trinity, Cannes.  It has been a big change for us both – a new country, a new culture and a new climate(!).

Helen and I have four children. Sam our eldest is married and owns a fishing tackle shop in Leeds. Kathryn is married to Rick and is living near to Kinsale in Ireland. Hannah is living in Australia where she is training to be a teacher. Tom our youngest is doing a carpentry apprenticeship. So two are in England, one is in Ireland and one is in Australia.

After studying Industrial Economics and lecturing at colleges of further education for 6 years, I studied theology at Nottingham University and St John’s College.  I met Helen, who was a teacher with a home in the Lake District, at that time – and we were married soon after my ordination.

After serving in three parishes in different parts of Yorkshire, we spent 7 years in a Church of Ireland parish near Cork, before making the journey from Cork to Cannes!

If you are not yet a regular member of Holy Trinity do come and share with us in our Sunday worship or mid-week activities as we continue to learn and grow in faith together.  Do give us a phone call or send an e-mail if we can be of any help.
